2026 Assistant Grower
JOB POSTING: Assistant Grower
Job Type: Full or Part-Time, Seasonal (April - November)
Overview:
Brookwood Community Farm is a non-profit (often female and/or non-binary run) production-focused farm with robust CSA, market, and donations outlets. BCF was founded in 2006 with the goals of restoring underutilized farmland near Boston, strengthening the local food system, and increasing access to healthy food in low-income neighborhoods. To us, sustainability means ongoing improvements to our systems so we can maximize production without stressing our land or our staff. The farm cultivates 5 acres using organic practices, and is located just south of Boston by Blue Hills Reservation in Canton, MA on Massachusett land.

Candidates must have a clean driving record, driver’s license, and the ability to safely lift and carry 50 lbs, and work in all weather conditions. In addition, dependability, a positive attitude, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently are essential prerequisites that will contribute to staff having a successful season in this role.
